Delivery – Where’s My Order?
Although we endeavour to despatch all orders as quickly as possible, usually within 1 working days of receipt, we do ask you to allow extra time at busy periods, especially in the run up to Christmas.
Upon receipt of your order, we will email you an Order Acknowledgement (please check your spam box if you don’t think you’ve received it). Then, upon despatch, we will send you a Despatch Confirmation email providing more precise details about when your order will arrive, together (as appropriate) with tracking details for your order. For larger orders we will then also send text messages giving you more details about your delivery (please enter your mobile number as your phone number).
Depending upon the delivery option you select, we will despatch your order using either an Amazon Logistics UK or Parcel2go service.
If you are paying by Paypal, the Paypal website may show a screen which allows you to change your delivery address. Please DO NOT change your delivery address here on the Paypal website – we will deliver to the delivery address that you specify on our own website during Checkout. If you need to change your delivery address, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 0759 240 4658 and we will change it for you, if we can.
Orders to overseas countries are despatched just as quickly and arrive as fast as their national delivery services allow.
With effect from January 2021, customs charges such as VAT and Import Duty may be payable by recipients of parcels in EU countries. Lily Kids Toys is not responsible for these charges, these must be paid by the customer or parcel recipient prior to delivery. We cannot advise how much these charges may be, however our understanding is:
- Items priced at over £15 are subject to Import VAT, typically around 21% of the item(s) price (the actual amount depends upon the country imported into)
- Items or order totals at or over £135 may also be subject to Import Duty (this we understand is dependant upon the item type and where it is manufactured – and usually is up to 4% of the item(s) price)
This guidance is based upon our understanding to try to help customers and should not be relied upon necessarily to be correct. If you are concerned, we advise customers to make your own investigations prior to placing your order. Once your order is despatched you will be contacted usually by our courier and asked to pay any necessary customs charges. In the event that these are not paid and the parcel returns to us, the refund we provide will be reduced to cover the courier charges we incur (charged at cost). Please also note that the item price on our website for orders delivered to EU countries includes an administrative charge equivalent to UK VAT that would otherwise not be included.
We are happy to send orders placed anywhere in the world for delivery to UK addresses, where our UK delivery prices apply. Please note, we reserve the right not to accept payment by Paypal where an order is to be despatched to a forwarding agent.
Gift Wrapping & Gift Messages
We will be happy to orders placed in November and December are wrapped in Christmas wrapping paper, and all orders placed in other months are wrapped using a non-Christmas paper (eg for a birthday). If you prefer birthday paper in the run up to Christmas or Christmas paper at other times of the year, just email us.
If you would like us to include a Gift Message with your gift, this can be done free of charge. Please tick “Include a Gift Message instead of your Receipt” during Checkout and then include the wording in the Gift Message box.
No Quibble Returns
We hope you will be 100% delighted with your purchase. However, if for any reason you are not satisfied you are welcome to return your purchase to us, this is our “No Quibble” guarantee.
